The Canadian Quilters Association annual show was held in Penticton this year. Since this is only about an hour and a half drive away, I was able to nip over for the day. In the morning I did a volunteer stint as a “white glove lady” (security) and then was free to look around.
In one area I discovered a retrospective of 25 years of the Trendtex Challenge quilts. It was a real thrill to see a couple of my own pieces hanging there. (These were award winners in 2004 and 2005.)
